Is anyone else feeling all the feels about summer almost being over?! Gosh, I’m wondering where the summer went as I’m feeling happy to have a routine again, sad to be sending my babies back to school, overwhelmed with the next few weeks of making a lot of trips to get us prepped for school, & excited for a new year. To try to be on top of a few things, we headed to Walmart to stock up and beat some of the crowd. Besides stocking up for school supplies, we are needing to stock up on food & this mom is looking for easy snack ideas.
Snack with PostOur kids have very different tastebuds. Asking them to agree on one meal is quite the task & I usually try to turn it into a game to see if they will decide quicker. We took them to the cereal aisle & we grabbed a few Post cereals to try. We left with HONEY MAID® S’mores, Shredded Wheat Frosted Cinnamon Roll, & Great Grains® Cranberry Almond Crunch. Seriously, the HONEY MAID® S’mores is exactly what you are thinking it is. Graham Crackers, marshmallow, & chocolate together—without the campfire—which some of us prefer 😉 My husband & our 5 year old are big fans of the Shredded Wheat Frosted Cinnamon Roll with the vanilla flavor in the middle. The Great Grains® Cranberry Almond Crunch is mine & my 7 year old’s pick. I love the crunchy clusters with the almonds & cranberries.

A favorite snack of mine is Honey Maid Graham Crackers with milk so I knew I would love this cereal, but add in the yumminess of s’mores and it’s amazing. We decided to add it to our fun family movie night treat and it was a big hit!
This is so easy and our kids make me feel like a million bucks if I make it.
All you need is:
Popcorn
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 cup HONEY MAID® S’mores
Optional: 1/4 cup milk chocolate for drizzle

Melt white chocolate chips in the microwave for 30 seconds, then stir, melt for another 30 seconds. Mine were melted after a minute. Drizzle the white chocolate on top and then stir to coat all the popcorn in white chocolate. It’s the perfect mix of sweet and salty!
Mix in half of the cereal and then sprinkle the other half on top.

Melt some milk or dark chocolate and drizzle that on top and enjoy a movie! We then fill a cup or cupcake liner and it’s such a yummy snack for our kids.
