Hosting a Simple White Bridal Shower

Tips to Host the Perfect Simple White Bridal Shower featured by Utah lifestyle blog, By Jen Rose

I love hosting people! It brings me so much joy to be surrounded by people I love. I think it is because we grew up living near family and every week there was some type of “event.” It could be as simple as going to a siblings football game or a family member’s birthday dinner or extravagant as having a bunch of people over from…

Gold, White, & Pink Deer Birthday Party

I’m thrilled to be sharing my little girl’s deer birthday party today! She picked a character a long time ago and we couldn’t find much that we liked to go with it, so a few weeks ahead of time while I was folding laundry, it hit me. I already had a few deer decorations and the ideas started flowing. Come celebrate our dear Lynden became…

What We Wore – Baby Girl’s 1st Birthday Party

Ā I shared our little girl’s 1st birthday party a couple of days ago. It only took me 4 months to post, but better late than never right?! I had grand intentions of taking family pictures to use for Christmas cards until I found out it was going to be 109 degrees that day. Hence, I got out of the shower and didn’t even blow dry…

I’m finally getting around to sharing our sweet girl’s 1st birthday. This was a special one not only because she turned 1, but because her Uncle Ben was getting ready to head out on a mission for our church so it was a huge family affair. I threw it a month early so he could celebrate with her. I had a blast getting ready for…

songs, and colors I grew up with. Love the nostalgia. The kids put together more of the tray than I did & we took a photo with a phone camera…at night. Not my typical & I love it for those reasons. Hope you have a Merry Christmas! ā¤ļøšŸŒ²
My chaos. My steady. My rollercoaster. My best adv My chaos. My steady. My rollercoaster. My best adventure. My hardest calling. My biggest accomplishment & where I fall short multiple times a day. My pull to be present & my push to be better. These 5. This little tornado of children that we’ve created who follow us around. It’s weird and also awesome that they are so similar to Steve & I. Except we hope that they can plan trips more than 2 weeks out because of the unnecessary stress that that adds to traveling with 6 šŸ˜‰

We swam under the stars and soaked up the sunshine. We adjusted and attempted to improve where we could. If I know love what love is & why life is full, it’s because of these ones right here. Hope you have a great long weekend! ā¤ļø
There couldn’t have been a more perfect audio fo There couldn’t have been a more perfect audio for today. Happy Birthday to my sweet sister. I couldn’t imagine life without you and while I’ve always needed my hand held, these last 9 months without our dad would have been impossible without her. This road of trying to figure out ā€œnow what?ā€ is much more bearable with her driving it with me. She’s the one who walks out to her garden and picks an entire dinner, knows all The Office lines, is my on call nurse, loves a good party and a classic chick flick. She doesn’t take herself too seriously and is the most patient mother. I enjoy that she is so well researched on anything and everything having to do with health, loves being a bee mom, having the style of a coastal grandma, and introducing her very crunchy ways of living to us. There isn’t an aspect of my life that she hasn’t touched or inspired me to be better at. I hope your trip in Florida has been the dreamiest and can’t wait to see if your homemade sunscreen actually worked šŸ’™šŸ„°
#ad Our 3 older kids are in the middle of tennis s #ad Our 3 older kids are in the middle of tennis season & loving it! Their main request? Bring Nature Valleyā„¢ bars when I'm the mom in charge of snacks. It feels like a lot of our afternoons are spent by a court or on a field, running from school to practice, or to a game. I always have these on hand. Did you know that 1 in every 8 people face hunger, including nearly 12 million children? I hate to admit I had no idea the number was this staggering & heartbreaking. It touches every community and for the next couple of weeks, I will be stocking up on some of our family favorites on my trips to @walmart , where General Mills is donatingĀ to @feedingamerica . It is simple and small, but can make a difference.
For every participating General Mills product purchased at Walmart between 4/18/22 and 5/15/22, General Mills will donate $0.10 to Feeding AmericaĀ® - enough to help Feeding America secure 1 meal on behalf of its member food banks – up to a maximum total donation of $1,500,000 in conjunction with this program. "Each of us will have our own Fridays—those days "Each of us will have our own Fridays—those days when the universe itself seems shattered and the shards of our world lie littered about us in pieces. We all will experience those broken times when it seems we can never be put together again. We will all have our Fridays. But I testify to you in the name of the One who conquered death—Sunday will come. In the darkness of our sorrow, Sunday will come. No matter our desperation, no matter our grief, Sunday will come. In this life or the next, Sunday will come."

Missing dad on our first Easter without him & holding onto the memories of the amazing Easter egg hunts at my parents house that he loved almost as much as he lived to celebrate his love for Christ.
15 years ago, and some weeks (thanks to being sick 15 years ago, and some weeks (thanks to being sick), this boy came into the world and started me on my favorite adventure yet, motherhood. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing or how we were surviving, and can truthfully say the same is true 15 years later. You work hard, you play hard, and you really enjoy when your hard work pays off while dedicating yourself to try harder when you know there is room to do better. I feel like I’m raising my 15 year old dad from driving to tennis, golf, back to tennis & if there’s room, saving some time for skiing and basketball. Not only do I love you & believe in you times infinity, but I like you and can’t believe how cool of a person you are. I’m convinced everyday that you came the way you came & little of the person you are becoming has to do with our parenting. Thanks for reminding me when I have to sign up for tests, sports, for picking your battles wisely, and for saying thank you. Love you Joe Joe.
If you’re prepping to host for the Super Bowl, M If you’re prepping to host for the Super Bowl, March Madness, or having a group over just for fun, these sandwiches are awesome and easy to make for a crowd. They are frequently requested here!

1/2 lb roast beef
1/2 lb provolone
1 stick butter melted
1 Tbsp poppy seeds
1 Tbsp mustard
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
