What I Wore: Pop of Color

A couple of weeks ago, I was in dire need of a girls night!
Lucky for me, I found some sweet gals and off we headed for World Market!
Baby Bay was super excited to be invited along on this adventure and bless her sweet little heart, she slept the whole time!

Right when we walked in, I saw their Life of Pi shop. I’m not going to lie, I saw some of my friends instagram pictures of the scarves at World Market and I needed one! Guess which one I picked?! I thought it’d totally add a pop of color to an outfit I’d been wanting to wear. Plus, all of the jewelry was fabulous! I didn’t know World Market carried such darling jewelry like this gold hammered cuff bracelet, Indian gold anklet with bells (which I totally wear as a bracelet,) and gold bangles. Who doesn’t love bangles?! I loved how fun these shoes looked with my mint skinnies.
Have you seen Life of Pi yet? I bet our kids would love it, family date night! Life of Pi is the story of an Indian boy named Pi, a zookeeper’s son, who survives a disaster at sea and is thrown into an epic journey. While adrift in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, he forms an amazing and unexpected connection with another a fearsome Bengal tiger. The movie opens in theaters November 21, 2012. You can watch the trailer here.

Here’s the scarf I picked! Did you guess pink?
Thanks to my amazingly talented friend, Lora Knight, for taking these pictures!

I don’t have many scarves, like maybe 3 so we were playing with different ways to wear a scarf and here are 4.
1. Make it look like an infinity scarf
2. Wrap around once and then pull both ends through the middle
3. The bow
4. Fold in half and pull both ends through the loop

Love my arm parties! I won’t be skipping by the jewelry section at World Market anymore! Don’t be fooled by the anklet, make it a bracelet!

I’m giving you a chance to win some of your own goodies, but first check out this humongous giveaway going on at World Market!
