Here are some random thoughts for the middle of the week:
I’m so glad my baby is getting over hand, foot, mouth. She had it so bad and was miserable all of last week while we were trying to get ready for my other little girl’s birthday party.
She was in so much pain and pretty much screamed all night, every night last week. It is crazy contagious and the best thing the nurse told me I could do was to keep alternating Tylenol and Motrin even after her fever stopped because of the pain the blisters cause. I’m so grateful she is feeling better this week!
It is starting to get cold here and most days I wear my pink robe on top of my outfit because I can’t get warm, which then makes me want to bundle up and watch movies all day. I have a feeling this is going to be a super productive first winter in Utah.
Warm baths, warm blankets, warm food.
It’s red ribbon week at my son’s school and I’m feeling like such a failure/not fun mom. We had no crazy socks for Monday, and my idea for crazy hair was to spike it all over. No fun hair dye, no mohawk, no polka dot clown socks. I need to boost my fun level. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow’s theme is.
I did tell him I’d dye his hair next year. Now I have a year to figure out how to do it!
Elevate announced our date for next year + 2 events in November! If you are in the Southern California area, check out the events in November and if you like to travel mark your calendar for our conference!
Happy Wednesday!
Jeans, Sweater, Denim Top: Old Navy
Heels: Jessica Simpson
Jewelry: Jewerly Nut Auction & a Jane.com deal
I love me a good bow bracelet!
I love when my girls get to match! It’s sometimes hard to find tops and dresses that come in both of their sizes, but I found these at Swallows Return and am obsessed!
Big Sis:
Pants & Cheetah Boots (that she just HAD to have) Old Navy
Top: Swallows Return
Lace Wrap Headband: The Lil Cupcake
Baby Sis:
Ruffle Bum Leggings: Old Navy
Top: Swallows Return
Lace Wrap Headband: The Lil Cupcake
Moccs: Ox Blood-Freshly Picked
And because it was like pulling teeth to get either of my girls to stand still…together…we decided to throw leaves. You’d think I never let them go outside!
Sometimes to get the pictures we want of our kids, we have to let them be in charge. I posted some tips last month that help me when trying to get pictures of my kids.
I love theses tops! They are so darling and perfect for fall!
Have a delightful day!
