What I Wore-Chilly Chicago

Mr. J & I recently headed to chilly Chicago for the weekend to attend a Bears game with his family
{which they lost horribly}
We were waiting outside of his sister’s house in the car and here was our conversation-
Me-It’s almost getting dark and I kinda liked my outfit today…
{hint hint, offer to take a picture}
Him-Well, lets take a picture before it gets dark
Me-It’s freezing so I will just wear it again when we get home since California isn’t this cold, plus I don’t want your family to see.
Him-Let’s just do it.
Me-OK, didn’t want to force ya!
Sweater & Flannel-Target, Jeans-DownEast Basics, Boots-Target
Sure hope no one is looking out the window.
Teeth chattering, face losing color and feeling, legs shaking. I’m quite the baby when it comes to being cold.
And for the kicker…Here’s where the father in law opens the door and says M {brother in law} says to move now. He doesn’t want you to scare away the deer! The family in Chicago lives on a huge farm, which the boys were hunting on and I was supposedly in their shot! We were not even 20 feet from the house. So they were hiding watching Mr. J and I laugh and me pose for some shots. How embarrassing!

    LOL, Mrs. J! How cute that they were watching. At least you were wearing a fabulous outfit. I mean, if you have to freeze, and be watched, it’s better to do it while looking fabulous, don’t you agree?

    LOVE the color combinations and the look!

    Haha! I get embarrassed about taking photos too, hopefully with time we both get better 🙂 I live in WI, close to Chicago, so I know what you mean by the cold weather. Definitely makes it hard to get a good picture! lol. Your outfit is cute!

    I love the shirt/sweater combo. The materials make it comfortable, the colors make it super-stylish. Also, sorry about the Bears. I’m a Jaguars fan, so I’m very familiar with Teams That Lose Games.
