SJ @ Homemaker on a Dime, Jordan @ Military Spouse House, JESSICA @ My World Made By Hand, AND …M… @ Require Life awarded us with this:
We are so excited! The fabulous ladies above have some amazingly fantastic blogs! Check them out if you haven’t yet! Thanks so much!
Here are the rules to receive this award:
1. Thank and link back to the person(s) who awarded you with this award.
2. Share 7 things about yourself.
3. Award 15 recently discovered bloggers.
4. Contact these bloggers and tell them about the award.
Ok, now to share a few things about me…
1. We lived in San Francisco before we came out to Arizona and I pretty much discovered I’m more of a city girl than a suburb girl. That all may change once our kids get older, but for now I’m missing this…
2. I can’t fold a fitted sheet. Even if I ask for Mr. J’s help, we can’t accomplish it together. Luckily, I think I saw a tutorial on it and I’m going to try to overcome this obstacle of mine.
3. I have a problem simplifying. I also have a hard time saying “no.” So, saying yes for a favor with not very much time and me not being able to simplify makes for a stressed out wife/mother/sister/friend.
4. My husband works in the financial world, so frequently I feel like a single parent. We are talking 60-80 hours a week. The good thing is I have been able to grow some independence and not be so needy.
5. We {Mrs. H & I} come from a kind of big family…Here are the siblings minus 1
6. My mom always had treats in the house {either hiding in the oven to stay fresh or the microwave} for when friends came over. When friends come over, they still go right for the dessert before we start to catch up. I love that, I need it and I love that my mom tried to make our house “the house” to come hang out and feel welcome at. It must’ve taken a lot of patience. High school kids are not the most grateful, or quiet, and are always hungry 🙂
7. I can cook and bake (not like a pro) but I can. I haven’t been able to conquer bacon YET! I have tried and always have to ask Mr. J for help. Ugh! I’m going to do this!
Now to nominate 15 bloggers
1. N.C. Baby Blog
2. A Home Made By Kiki
3. Anne’s Vinyl and so much more
4. Our Blessed Life
5. J & J Home
6. One Simple Bliss
7. A Day In My Life
8. Where Beauty Meets Function
9. My Life on Cedar Street

Ooh! I am so honored. Thank you for thinking of me.
Thanks so much for including me!
I didn’t realize you were in Arizona. I grew up in Arizona and my parents live there so we go back and visit occasionally (easier for them to come here lately).
Don’t give up on folding a fitted sheet. I figured it out a few years back and I don’t even have to think about it anymore and my linen closet looks much better! 🙂
Thank you SO much for the award! I was so excited, and feel super honored! Thank you, thank you!
