Who is not loving blush right now?! When I went to Alt Summit this winter, I helped plan an opening dinner with Cents of Style and we asked that everyone wear the Pantone color of the year, Rose Quartz (blush).
Of course I hopped onto Pinterest and typed in Blush Maxi Skirt…This was the first pin and the outfit was stunning.
When I found this blush maxi skirt from Morning Lavender, I had to have it. It was the sweetest, most beautiful shade of blush and not bubblegum pink like a lot of other outfits I was finding.
Morning Lavender also had this beautiful lace crop top and my outfit was complete.
I borrowed gold heels from a friend before we headed out for the party and this outfit might have become one of my favorite outfits ever.
I think it’d be perfect to wear to a spring or summer wedding, don’t you?
I met Brittany from Tanglez Hair & Makeup & she did my hair and eyes for this look.
I thought it was so pretty and could go with a more casual look and a dressy look. Loose curls, a loose fishtail and a slightly messy bun. For a good part of the day I worn jeans and a tee to attend classes.
I love blush and maxi skirts so much that when I found this, I knew I would love it. I think it is sold out on their site, but you could grab a darling dusty rose skirt or a gold shimmer maxi skirt.
Brittany was a sweetheart to do my hair & I’m wearing my Laced Hair Extensions.
I feel like I’ve been looking for a flowy blush maxi skirt for a long time and this is such a perfect one because it’s light and comfy.
Classy Cozmetics did my makeup, but this time was just a tad different. We didn’t have a ton of time before we had to be at a presentation, and she totally was telling me what to do. Helping me do step by step while she was doing our friend’s makeup. It was then when I was really introduced to the “roller ball” and now I can’t leave the house without it! She has done my makeup at least 10 times, and I know she warns me about the part that kind of tingles, but I usually don’t pay too much attention because I’m relaxing. After I used it myself, I was hooked. I made a triangle under my eyes and looked like I’d been awake for 3 hours instead of 15 minutes. It’s my new favorite product and can be found at any drugstore. Jen teaches on her YouTube channel, but will also teach groups of women. Wouldn’t that be such a fun girls night?! Learning how to put on lashes, do eyebrows, lips? I’m thinking of having one at my house. DM her on Instagram if you want to learn more.
Thanks to Nina Tekwani for taking time out of your busy Alt schedule. You rock lady!
She is so so incredible to work with, check her out on Instagram!
