I’m just now getting to some of the pictures from our Texas trip which happened to fall during Mother’s Day weekend.

I really wanted pictures of my kids and loved the way these turned out!

I’m not even close to being a beginner photographer, but I LOVE looking at simple as that for photo tips and these quick tips totally helped get some cute ones of my kids and their personalities and not the fake-cheese-when are we going to be done pictures?!

I’m so glad I was able to catch my son in his true element, being too smart for his own good at 4 1/2 and loving life while we were talking about Jake and the Neverland Pirates.
Then there’s Little Miss L in her serious, pretty princess state.
I love these kids!
And one more for a close up of the skirt and shoes. Doesn’t every girl need a pair of black stilettos with a bow? They’re comfortable too, I would know since we were taking pictures by a pond and I was chasing a fearless little girl!

Cute outfit! I love your skirt! Your photos are fabulous. I need to work on my photography so that I can take good shots. Humidity and I don’t mix either. My hair goes completely flat and I just look horrid.
