I don’t try to be like Tom & Katie, but this is how it went with the 3rd.
I feel like we got home from the hospital and hit the ground running.
Kindergarten a week later, family and friends in town after that, a trip to Utah, me volunteering to be room mom!, emails and parent letters out, babies with croup, and the list can go on and on.
How does everybody do it?!

Back labor started at 39 weeks and 4 days, so daddy got me to the hospital quick. I was not going to miss out on the epidural like I did with Miss L.
Bye kids, have fun with grandma and grandpa!
{not sure that that is my favorite pregnancy angle, but whatever, I’m trying to smile through contractions}
Got the fluids going, got an epidural and within a few hours and 3 pushes out came our first brunette!
As my doctor was walking out, she quickly said, “Well, I’ve had bowel movements harder than that delivery.”
And she shut the door.
It took me a minute to get what she meant, but my husband and I almost rolled over laughing.

Touche fabulous doctor, you and I both have a dry sense of humor and would probably get along great if I wasn’t awkwardly getting undressed and dressed every time I saw you.
We are so in love with our precious Bailey Rose.
She has adjusted to being the 3rd perfectly and for the last couple months has loved her car seat! Hopefully that doesn’t change. The kids are so helpful grabbing the binky, the diaper, the wipes, the burpcloth, and shower her with kisses.
