Last week I attended the Land of Nod’s Grand Opening at South Coast Plaza.
I’m so glad I went and feel so blessed for this opportunity!
Since it was recently my birthday it was so fun to meet up with my friends for this party and then head for yogurt afterward.
I had only visited a Land of Nod store in Chicago and it was years and years ago before children.

When I heard about this event, I planned out exactly what I would be shopping for:
Remember that when I tell you what I bought.
The store was lovely. So many colors, so clean, and organized which left me excited and inspired.
I saw tons of options like the number bins on my list and some that weren’t on my list like the flea market wire bins that should have been.
Don’t you just love all of the color?!
I found the vintage suitcases and had a great idea to use them to hide the girls many headbands and flowers.
The food and drinks at this party were delish.
Cheers to my best buddy, Summer.
I wore heels because I like being taller than 5’2″, but at one point I wanted a little break.
I am still swooning over this retro rocker.
Just so I don’t look like the meanest friend ever, there was a bed nearby, but 8 month prego Summer wanted to hear the story from the floor.
The Wall Art was darling.
This mini pink chevron chair would be my 3 year old’s best friend. She loves sitting and doing her makeup and reading.
Yes, that is a Solar System ball I took home. My 6 year old is having a blast learning about the planets right now and this and Google are coming in really handy along with some phrase that starts with My Very Excellent Mother…Anyone remember the rest? It helps with the order of the planets.
We have played handball almost every night since I brought it home.
I was going to steer clear of the bedding and then I saw this setup complete with a pink quilt & grey duvet.
This picture doesn’t even do it justice because I was standing on my tip toes (remember 5’2″) trying to get the stars in. I saw these sheets and then was hoping to pair them with something like this. Summer said yes. Lora said yes. Then I met Jeran, who is super cute by the way, and she said she did her girls room pink, grey, white, and gold. Done. I ordered the sheets and am thrilled for them to get here!
This awesome 3 tiered wire bin is also on its way to me along with a J pillow for my son.
It feels great to have some starters for what I want to do with each of the kids rooms plus something for me.
I love that Land of Nod does such an amazing job pairing vintage and modern pieces.
This is my new go-to place to shop.

I see a few things that I NEED to get! That Flea market basket will be perfect to tame the mountain of stuffed animals in my little Miss’s room. And those little suit cases for her hair accessories is brilliant!
