A little winter in California

I’ve shared on this little blog for just over a year, and around that time I found Nina’s fashion posts over at Momma Go Round. She had started a link up for women to come share what they have worn and I thought, huh this will actually help me get out of my normal yoga pants and hoodie routine. Now I have never been one to be as brave as Nina and wear bright tights or colored blazers {even though I’ve loved them and aspire to try them one day!} Nina has inspired me to shop in places I wouldn’t have thought to before. Old Navy & Target to name a couple. So thanks to Nina for helping me expand my closet and not spend a fortune! Happy year to RMRS!

I knew I had to have this sweater when I saw it because it totally reminded me of my sweet dad with the suede on the elbow. My dad is the most stylish man I know. He always looks so sharp and everyone thinks he is super handsome-at 71 🙂 To show how stylish he is, I’m posting a picture of the outfit he wears to church during December. I like to call him Mr. Christmas. He switches out different pieces but he is always wearing red and green during the month…stud! And my darling mom just thinks he lights up the room!
