I knew that the time would come.
The time when the clock isn’t slowing down enough for me to take a second to fully soak it all in.
Mine and the hubs conversation on Sunday:
Mr. J timidly says: Dear, what would you like to do tomorrow?
Mrs. J: Well, we need to get B into the pediatrician since the hospital says we have to get her in within 2-3 days {yes, we had our sweet baby and more to come on her later} We need to get J’s dental assessment paper work and doctor assessment paper work signed off so I can take it to the school. Otherwise, I think he won’t be able to start kindergarten. Let’s find the bassinet. Oh and we need to get this and this and this so that we are ready to send J to school.

Mrs. J: Oh yeah! Our anniversary is tomorrow! You were asking what I wanted to eat, not for a list of crap you needed to help me get done!

In my defense, we were due on our anniversary so I knew I’d be a little occupied!
BUT
He got my present early and was on top of it enough to ask about dinner, so I really shouldn’t be trying to defend myself.

I cannot wait to hear more about your new sweet baby! I just sent my baby off to Kindergarten (yeah and a little sad too) and my big one to 6th grade (scary!). I hope you are doing well. You are the sweetest lady ever! I always fail on my anniversary too! Happy Anniversary!
