PEOPLE Magazine 2013 Double Oscars Issue & $20 Target Gift Card Winner

I’m sitting at Chick-fil-A with my in laws looking across the parking lot at Target and I ask my husband if it’s March yet. Mommy brain has definitely set in with baby 3. He tells me it is and I can tell he’s nervous I forgot to pay something. His Director of Finance brain has definitely not been affected with baby 3.

“Babe, I need to run a real quick errand to Target! Seriously in and out!”
His parents are only in town for the day so he kind of looks at me wondering if this is going to be a long in and out or if I’m telling the truth.

“Remember how we watched the Oscars?! Well now I need to get PEOPLE Magazine 2013 Oscars Double Issue to see if their audience thought like I did about the fashion. It’s only out until March 18th.”

10 minutes later we are there…

3 minutes later lip gloss and magazine in hand

and 5 minutes after that treats and diapers on clearance were in hand also.

Fastest Target trip ever, major hubby points.

I couldn’t wait to read it, catch up on the wedding countdown and see all of the Oscars fashion!
Seriously PEOPLE Magazine, thanks for all the details!

So, I read it in between nap time, play time and feeding time.

Took my white chocolate M&M’s outside to the hammock and read poolside!
I’m a big fan of Ben & Jen. I totally teared up with his speech, especially the part to his sweet wife and kids.
Thanks for being real Ben and saying marriage is hard work, but great job sticking to it!
I thought Jen’s hair looked beautiful and loved how she was beaming at him throughout the night.
What about her necklace? I wasn’t a huge fan.
I must have missed George Clooney and Stacy Keibler arrive (which is why I love catching up with PEOPLE Magazine) because I got to see her dress and hair up close in the magazine.
I liked her look, but I expected something more. I’m not sure what, but it wasn’t one of my faves.

In case you are wondering about my sweet tooth, yes I have one and it’s bad, but I also snacked on fruit while looking at all of the incredible fashion, jewelry, and makeup.

Phew! The guilt is lessened.

I loved Jenna Dewan, Amy Adams, Jennifer Lawrence and of course, Jennifer Aniston.
Amy Adams dress with all the tulle was fabulous! I love poof!
Seeing Anne Hathaway more in the magazine made me realize how much I love her short hair! Anyone else?
She is so beautiful and I feel bad for how much hate she is receiving for her dress.
I loved the sky blue Saint Laurent number she slipped into for the Vanity Fair after party.

And to finish up my PEOPLE Magazine date, I curled up with some Dove after a nap.
End of the night verdict:
I wish I could look as awesome as Jennifer Aniston with a full bodied blowout.
I want someone to try a chignon on my hair worn like Amanda Seyfried or Jennifer Garner.
Fred Leighton won my vote for best jewelry of the night.
Salma Hayek Pinault’s look didn’t do it for me. Too much going on on the neck.
Fred Leighton was my favorite jeweler of the night, with Harry Winston coming in a close 2nd! I love all of Jennifer Aniston’s jewelry and Charlize Theron’s bracelet!
