I had the privilege to host a baby shower for my little sister a few months back and it was such a blast!

I decided I wanted something simple for party favors. Something that went along with our outdoor, natural garden setting.
I came across these mini flowers from Oh Happy Day & decided they would be perfect tied onto a small jar of citrus scrub.
My favorite, go-to place to order crepe paper is Carte Fini. It is the real stuff, great quality and they have tons of colors.
To make your flowers:
I used about 8 petals per flower.
Cut 2 small petals, 3 medium petals, and 3 large petals.
For the center I cut a square piece and folded it hot dog way, then hamburger way, and then glued it onto the toothpick.
So if I’m using kindergarten folding terms you know it’s pretty simple and really hard to mess up, right?! Right!
Then just start folding and overlapping your petals all the way around.
I cut 2 medium size green petals for the leaves, glued them at the bottom and pinched for extra security.
Not one was alike and I loved it that way. These can be used for just about any occasion and while they are a tiny bit time consuming, they are so inexpensive and a cute statement piece.
If you are needing crepe paper for any holiday or birthday parties coming up, check out Carte Fini! I have a nice little stash growing and fringe garlands are the easiest, cutest backdrops at parties!

These are adorable! I kind of love anything of the “mini” variety (you could say I’m mini-obsessed a little….)
