Today I’m sharing this cute DIY Dollar Cake Stand over at Thirty Handmade Days.
This cake stand only took about an hour so I decided to make a quick cake topper also.
I saw the cutest holiday buntings on Simple As That and was inspired to make a mini cake topper for St Patrick’s Day.
This is such a cute, simple St Patrick’s Day craft.
You need:
1 page from a book, cut into little banner shapes
2 pieces of glitter cardstock, cut into mini shamrocks (I used my Silhouette)
2 bamboo sticks
1 piece of twine
tape
Attach the twine to the back of the bunting with tape and tie the twine on the end of the bamboo.
That’s it!
This is one of the most simple things I’ve made and I love the pop of color it brings to a cake.
My kids loved this craft and loved watching the little shamrocks being cut out with the Silhouette.
It’s a must have for your St Patrick’s Day festivities.
