Cottonelle Clean Care Routine & Mom Fail

“This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign withPollinate Media Group™ and Cottonelle but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #CtnlCareRoutine  http://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO

After the flu spread through our family like wildfire this week, we headed to Walmart this weekend to stock up on everything.
Our house was neglected something fierce this week.
On my list—toilet paper & flushable wipes.
Cottonelle is the brand we prefer partially because there are always great coupons available.
$1.50 off the toilet paper & $2 off the flushable cleansing cloths
PLUS
a $5 movie credit through Vudu when you buy both.
So head into Walmart soon!
When you purchase BOTH items in store in the month of February you will receive a $5 Vudu offer. Vudu is like RedBox and offers HD movies. To receive the offer you need to do as follows:
Take a picture of the receipt showing that you purchased both items.
Text or email your picture to clean@drvsusa.com
You will receive a text or email back with a code valid for a $5 movie credit

Cottonelle Flushable Wipes and Toilet PaperMy older 2 are 7 & 4 so you might be wondering why I am bribing them now with candy.
I will let you in on a secret/mom fail that I’m finally nipping in the bud.
I don’t know if it’s the inner OCD in me or the nurturing mom in me, but I still let my kids use baby wipes…and struggle letting them wipe themselves. The 7 year old boy is good on his own the majority of the time, but my little girl yells for me when she’s done and asks for the wipes. I didn’t want poop getting on their underwear or hands and baby wipes just seem easier and softer, until now.
I’m running around looking for wipes in the living room, master bathroom, kids bathroom, kitchen, diaper bag, you name it and I’m looking there.
With 3 little bums using baby wipes it’s easy to misplace them.
It isn’t great for the toilet either. We are renting and I love our old, vintage house. After an issue the previous owner had with the pipes and cooking grease, they asked us to be more careful than we would with a newer house.
Lightbulb! We probably shouldn’t be flushing baby wipes down the toilet.
I talked to the kids and they are a little too excited to be using the Cottonelle Flushable Cleansing Cloths.
It is great for a child who is used to being wiped with wipes to transition to using the cleansing cloths and patting dry with the toilet paper.
Cottonelle Clean Care Routine CollageI already love this new found sense of independence for me and them!
Please don’t judge! Sometimes this being a momma thing is harder than I thought.
As a side note, the candy is not sitting on the back of the toilet for them to eat right away 🙂
It’s by the soap at the sink for after they’ve washed their hands.
My husband might have been a bit mortified when he saw me taking pictures and wanted to make sure I wasn’t leaving the candy right there.

Mrs. J
