I love Recycled Design & I love Sage & Harper & I love Lisa Leonard Designs & I love the Shine Project. I love the ladies that own these companies & love their shops almost as much as I love them because of what amazing women they are. Do you know business owners that you feel are an incredible face for their brand & you wish everyone could meet them because they are their brand? They’re sweet, they’re genuinely nice, they bring good to whoever they work with, they’re positive, they’re uplifting, inspiring, they’re smart, they’re beautiful inside and out.
Over the past few years of blogging, I’ve had the opportunities to meet each one of these ladies. All at different events and different times. A couple of them were awkward (I was nursing in a restroom/lounge area) and I was running out of a boutique (purchases piled on my stroller, 3 children stained with shaved ice running and fighting with each other, and me sweating profusely) and the other 2 were somewhat normal over email and at a boutique booth.
I could probably tell you that after I met each one I was sold. Sold on their product. Sold on their business. Loved their sweet spirit and loved their story.
As silly as this sounds, I love wearing stuff from these companies because I aspire to be a little bit like each woman in some way.
How do I find the beauty in everything I come across & approach each day with unconditional love for my family like Lisa Leonard does?
How do I make each person feel like they are the most important person & cram 36 hours worth of plans into 24 hours like Ali from Sage & Harper does?
How do I try and be the good, find the good, serve strangers, help those in need, and be involved with my family like Ashley from The Shine Project does?
How do I remember to compliment people & make them feel like a million bucks when I have a bunch going on in life like Amanda from Recycled Design does?
These ladies are real. I’m sure they’d tell you they aren’t perfect and they have their own struggles. We all do.
We’ve gotten to work with each of them in some capacity for Elevate Blog Conference and have seen that they truly believe each person has a story.
It’s your own. It’s important. No one can write it but you.
You are beautiful. You have talents. Different talents than your neighbor, your sister in law, your child’s teacher, your cousin’s best friend…but you have them.
You can make someone’s day.
This is why Summer & I love this little thing we created called Elevate.
We love positivity, we need support, we love beauty, we all love having good relationships, we love having people to look up to.
And these are just a few of the ladies that inspire us.
Thank you to the beautiful ladies who took care of me for this shoot. xo
